New England

Explore six states that are full of history, culture, and famous scenery.
The Atlantic Ocean is on one side of the northeastern United States, and green forests are on the other. Everywhere in between, there are interesting cities, historical places, cultural attractions, picturesque villages, and outdoor activities.

Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont are the six states that make up New England. Here, you can see beaches with white sand and rocky rocks, as well as blue lakes with calm water and views of snowy mountains. These areas are great for exploring the outdoors by hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, and doing a lot of different winter sports. You can also look for wildlife. New England’s traditional foods, like fresh lobster, clams (especially in clam chowder!), oysters, real maple syrup, and craft beer, will help you recover from your experiences.

New England is a great place to visit all four seasons. A lot of people come to enjoy classic summer activities like going to the beach or the mountains or seeing the beautiful fall leaves. As winter comes, ski resorts and city tours become more popular as the scenery turns into a snowy wonderland. Many people are going at this time of year because it is late spring and the countryside is coming back to life. There are shops, galleries, restaurants, and outfitters in small towns all year long. These places can rent you bikes, kayaks, canoes, go on trips, and more.
