Oh Lord Jesus, You have constantly led me through the good times and bad times of the past few days. I recognize Your loving hand in everything I’ve done well and Your calm presence in everything I’ve faced. Thank you for giving me a job, giving me chances to learn and grow, and giving me the strength to do my job.
I pray for a peaceful and relaxed weekend as I wind down from the work of the week. Thank you for blessing my family, friends, and house. Let us have a happy, funny, and united time together. Let’s take this time to rest, think, and get refreshed, and don’t forget to thank You for all Your many gifts.

Lord, help me keep my mind on You as I start the weekend. Let Your love and truth guide everything I do, say, and think.
I pray that what I do will show others Your rule and be like You. It’s not just about my plans and wants this weekend, Lord. I hope that it will also be about You.

Thankful for the week’s blessings
Lord, as I think back on the past week, I can’t help but remember all the good things You’ve done for me. Everything good in my life, from small times of happiness to big goals met, has come from You.
Even when things got hard, Your hand was there to guide me and shape me for Your purpose. I’m grateful for the kindness that kept me going, the love that surrounded me, and the hope that kept me going every day.
Good weeks aren’t just about what you get done; they’re also about the trip and the lessons you learn.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my week, for everything that has taught me something, and for everything that has brought me closer to You.
As this week comes to a close, my heart is full of thanks for Your constant presence and endless love.

A Prayer for Rest and Hope
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that you can rest and start over this weekend. I know that my cup isn’t empty and I can’t pour from it. I need the refreshment that you alone can give me, the healing that comes from being with you. Please help me make time to be still and know that You are God.
Lord, refresh my heart when it’s quiet. Give me new energy and help me concentrate again. Please help me understand how much You love me, how peaceful you are, and how joyful it is to be in your company.

Prayer for safety and direction
I ask for Your safety and direction as the weekend goes on, Lord. I hope that You will protect me from all harm, keep my family safe, and show me the right way to live.
Please help me to be smart so I can make the right choices and stay away from things that could pull me away from You.

Lord, bless this day and keep me safe with Your divine protection. Tell me the right thing to do and show me the way that will bring me closer to You.
Don’t let the end of the work week or the coming weekend stop me from getting ready for the work that lies ahead. You are my great provider, and You never let me down. Give me peace and take away all my stress and fear.
I come to you with an open heart, Lord. Look deep inside my heart and take out anything that isn’t of You or that You don’t like. Make my deeds and thoughts pure so that I can show Your love and light.
Let the blood of Your Blessed Son, Jesus Christ, cover me. Please bless and watch over me today and all weekend so that I can walk in Your truth and kindness. I pray in the name of Jesus, AMEN!
Friday Prayer at Night
In the evening, when the sun goes down and everything is quiet, I take a moment to feel Your presence, Holy Spirit. Heavenly Father, I thank You for the kindness that has kept me going today.
Dear God, thank you for all the good things you have done for me and the people I care about.
I praise and respect You for every moment and breath that I’ve been safe with Your care. Your power and kindness shine best at night when everything is quiet. You, Lord, are the light that I can see in the darkest times.
I find comfort and strength in the direction of the Holy Spirit, knowing that tomorrow will bring new hope and chances.
Let me sleep tonight in Your arms, and when I wake up, I want to be ready to walk in Your way again. I pray this in the name of Jesus.
