Laredo

Another one-of-a-kind Tex-Mex event

It is in the middle of South Texas, at mile marker 1 on Interstate Highway 35. This is the kind of mix of culture, language, food, and atmosphere that you can only find in the middle of South Texas.

This small Spanish house was built more than 258 years ago on the Rio Grande and still has antiques from that time. You can walk around the historic downtown and see places like San Agustin Plaza, the Republic of the Rio Grande Museum, and San Agustin Cathedral which are important to both local and Texan history.

You can count on the places to stay in Laredo to make your time on the border with South Texas feel like home.
