Find “the songs and soul of the South” and honor Otis Redding, a local son, in front of a life-size picture of him. You can also (re) discover the music of the Allman Brothers Band by going to The Big House, which used to be their house but is now a museum. Unless you’d rather take a walk down Cherry Street and listen to up-and-coming musicians play, or you’d rather go to a show in one of the city’s famous venues.
