Naples

Beautiful beaches with a touch of luxury
There are picture-postcard beaches in Naples, Marco Island, and the Everglades in Southwest Florida. There is also the best art, culture, shopping, eating, and nature. Full-service beachfront resorts can meet all of your holiday needs, whether you want to relax at the spa, get away with your partner, or sip a tropical drink in the sand. Downtown Naples, which is lined with palm trees, is a great place for art lovers, shoppers, and foodies. People come from all over the world to play on championship courses at golf clubs that are known all over the world. People who love nature can easily access the famous Florida Everglades and the remote Ten Thousand Islands, both of which offer unique experiences just ready to be had.

Totally Wild and Real
With the beautiful Florida Everglades in one way and the Gulf of Mexico in the other, Naples and Marco Island are surrounded by activities that you will never forget. While on an airboat tour, you might see bobcats, alligators, bald eagles, turtles, and snakes. An International Dark Sky Park, Big Cypress National Preserve is a great place to camp out under the stars. In the Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, you can walk along the path and see the biggest old-growth bald cypress forest in North America. Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge is a maze that kayakers can paddle through, and Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve has mangrove tubes that kayakers can slide through. If you’re traveling with kids, you can do things like watch dolphins or go to the Naples Zoo when they get tired of making sandcastles and playing in the water.

Beautiful Beaches
The beach is where you’ll be, of course—a lot of time. Not only are these beaches famous for being beautiful, but they also offer a lot of different things to do. The beaches at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, which are full of seashells, were named one of Dr. Beach’s 2014 Best Beaches. You can fish, snorkel, kayak, and sail here. In the same year, Barefoot Beach Preserve County Park, which is just north of Naples, was named the second best beach. At Naples Municipal Beach and Pier, Vanderbilt Beach, and Tigertail Beach on Marco Island, you can rent tools, eat, play, and use the bathroom. Want to get away from everything? Ten Thousand Islands doesn’t have any people living on it, so you can camp on a small piece of sand there. You can also get away to Keewaydin Island, a barrier island with more than 12 kilometers of white-sand beach that you can only reach by boat.

High-end dining and shopping
When a place is this beautiful, it doesn’t need any ordinary draws. Fifth Avenue South and Third Street South in Naples are high-end shopping and eating streets. Along the clean, tree-lined streets, you can find art galleries, stylish shops, and gourmet restaurants. At the Village Shops on Venetian Bay, you can shop in style while taking in views of the water. At Waterside Shops in Naples, you can find high-end brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, and even Tesla. Condé Nast Traveler named Naples one of the U.S.’s best food cities, so visitors who are hungry don’t have to worry. Try authentic Persian food at Bha! Bha! Bistro, Indian food at 21 Spices by Chef Asif, or homemade Italian pasta at Osteria Tulia to enjoy the city’s international flavor and fresh seafood from the ocean. In Truluck’s, the stone crab claws come straight from the boat to your plate. At the always-busy USS Nemo Restaurant, the miso-braised sea bass is a must.
