Seattle
The vibrant and diverse city in the Pacific Northwest
Seattle is a vibrant urban oasis tucked away in the Pacific Northwest, boasting a booming food and drink culture, unique neighborhoods, and a breathtaking coastal location. Lake Washington to the east and Puget Sound to the west define the city’s borders, making it a great place for water sports and sightseeing tours.
Famous Attractions
From the observation deck atop the iconic Space Needle, an 185.5-meter-tall relic from the 1962 World’s Fair and a symbol of the city, the view is breathtaking. The oldest continually running farmer’s market in the country, Pike Place Market is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Explore the stands filled with handcrafted cheeses, freshly baked bread, and the day’s fish. To view Dale Chihuly’s incredible studio glass creativity, visit Chihuly Garden and Glass. Culture of Coffee
Seattle is home to Starbucks in addition to being a wine and craft beer destination. The original storefront next to Pike Place Market is still open for visits. Caffeine is the lifeblood of this metropolis, which boasts one of the highest densities of coffee shops of any American city. These include Cloud City Coffee, with its $1 a cup honor system, Victrola Coffee, a boutique roaster, and the brands Seattle’s Best and Caffe Vita. Take a tour of the Starbucks Reserve Roastery to get a taste (and immersive, futuristic experience) of the iconic brand’s coffee culture.
innate beauty
Enjoy some of the friendliest seas in the country when sailing, paddling, fishing, or taking a whale-watching trip along the Pacific coast. In addition, three national parks are accessible from Seattle in a few hours’ drive: the majestic Mount Rainier National Park, the Olympic National Park’s temperate rainforests, and North Cascades National Park, home to 300 glaciers. “The mountain is out,” as Seattleites say, refers to the snow-capped 4,392-meter Mount Rainier that is visible 161 kilometers to the south. Kerry Park is a half-hectare park with expansive views of the Seattle cityscape, particularly at night. It is located on the slope of Queen Anne Hill.

To name a few, Capitol Hill is a haven for counter-culture and entertainment located directly to the southwest.
