Best hotels in edinburgh. Edinburgh has a charming atmosphere. Scotland’s capital, Edinburgh, is a dark, historic city with buildings dating back hundreds of years, meandering cobblestone streets, and a massive castle rising over the Old Town.
The city is rather small, even though there is a ton to see and do here, including a ton of creepy ghost tours. Generally, everything you’ll want to see is accessible by foot. Because of this, every hotel listed below is ideally situated so you can always view the sights without having to travel far.
